ever since I went back to re-watch the sonic x anime and coming across particular scenes, I come across the scene where Shadow has a flash back with his dear friend Maria and how they wish to visit earth together. I got some inspiration from when she re-drew the scene with Maria running from the G.U.N. Soldier and How I would like to test out my skills with the background and how I would draw Shadow and Maria together to re-create the image that was provided by Sonic X and honestly I thought the picture could of had some updates with the drawing style we see in the show. Not much to say except hope you lovelies like the re-drawn version of Shadow and Maria from Sonic X

What can I say? WOW! This is incredible and beautiful!! The shading and lighting are spot on, your design for Maria is beautiful and soft, and of course Shadow always looks cool!
The overall picture gives the idea that there is some deep conversation going on between Shadow and Maria when she was alive, or the ghost of Maria that lives in Shadows mind. This gives the audience that perfect blend of what if and what is; what if, in what if Maria had lived or is still alive and is now confronting Shadow on his life and life choices, and what is, in that we understand Maria to be dead and Shadow to hold her in his mind, so what is, is what is living, playing, and communicating to Shadow in this form of Maria (what is she to him).
All in all, there is very little critique that needs to be done here. This drawing is beautiful and the only thing that I could think to add would be a dialogue script for Shadow and Maria (though she appears to be listening to Shadow more than speaking). Other than that, all I can say is WOW! Great work!
