Description Another experiment with scribbliness! This was done entirely in scribbles, and entirely for the purpose OF doing scribbles, so as art goes, it's not terribly inspired, I know, just one more installment in that vastly overdone genre of deer-girl and possum. But such is the nature of a study. I'm still liking a lot of the textural effects with the scribbles, bits of the tree have a nice grain, but I'm thinking it may need solid colored blocks to play off against, or maybe some smoothness somewhere as contrast. I'll get this down to a workable technique yet, though, or they'll find me hunched in the corner with the stylus up my nose, gibbering. Either way, s'all good.

Annnnyway. Prints are available in case anybody actuallly likes it, just send a note.

Oh my gosh I love her! Finally, it's good to see someone who draws a Fawn with an actual deer tail! I drew a Fawn a while ago, he's cute but no where near as good as yours!

I really love this. Just because I've just found your art and page here at DA. I wanted to say that if you havent written a book, a book by you would be a great read. Maybe a childrens book and have illustrations. just a thought hope you don't mind

This is probably one of the finest Fawn representations I've ever seen (me being a fan since that's my name IRL). You're technique is constantly inspiring, and your sense of humor lets me know that I'm not the only one who thinks the strange and obsure mixed with cuddly is a comfort in my heart. My your creativity stay well nurished.

Usually I don't comment, but this reminded me a lot of C.S. Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia fauns. Maybe it's the female version.
Anyway, it looks fantastic as always.

Where is this hidden horde of deerwomen and possums? I'm responsible for a number of deerwomen myself, but I'd love to see more!

Amazing. The colours are amazing! The tree trunk is so... unique, and the orange is very nice looking on the hair.... but I think adding a backround would help alot.

Also, I still don't understand what is this thing you call 'scribbling'. Is it the same concept of building up a drawing just using, say, hatching?

Keep it up.

I'm really impressed by this. Her feet especially, they look so real- for the feet of a fawn/girl creature. I like how her hair almost mirrors the texture of the wood, the detail of which is amazing as well. Fantastic piece!
