It's a manatee. Err. Obviously.
I like doing cards occasionally--the teeny format lets you do a close-cropped portrait without guilt.

It looks so sad I just want to hug him/her. Not that I would, that would just confuse the manatee, and I try not to hug wild animals. Anyway, great job! Nice detail, and I love the colors you went with. I think all manatee's look sad, so good job there as well.

Awww I love manatees. They're like cute little sea cows. You did a great job with the coloring once again. It kind of adds to that under watery look.

Every time I see these animals I imediatelly think of mermaids. Maybe because of some legends, or other things, but they are truly beautiful. And so is this one.

Okay, this is a freaky coincidence. On Tuesday I was doodling in a lecture and drew a dugong and was trying to remember to check to see if you'd drawn a dugong because I thought one would look cool in your style. And here we are... weird

Fun fact, from the lecture I Morlocked today: Out of 1,000 mammals, only the Manatee and two species of Sloth have cervical veritbrae other than seven.
(and in humans, C-6 manifesting ribs is synonymous with all kinds of crazy lethalness - everything from a cleft palette to cancer...)
