...and I find myself back here again.Do they talk? I donβt think they talk. I imagine these odd, undifferentiated little creatures, somewhere between penguins and marmots, shuffling between their tiny homes and communicating entirely in gestures.
But, as usual, I could be completely wrong.

I think they can talk...that's why they wear masks. So they aren't expected to. Very nice work.

They remind me of Kudama, as depicted in Princess Mononoke. Except yours have the mystic of masks which gives them a slightly eerie feel, and they're more adorable for it I think.

Gorgeous! I love the way the color is built up, especially in the reds and pinks. I'm also quite endeared to these little characters now -- I think you've done a fabulous job of creating believable characters without an ounce of information about them. Reminds me of the sort of thing you'd see in a Miyazaki film.

Every part of me wants to know how the hell you come up with this stuff. It's fun! I like the rough edgest and the pastel colors. They pair together far better than I thought they would.

I can't quite put into words exactly what it is about these little guys that I so enjoy but I do enjoy them nonetheless. They are quite thought provoking and evocative. At least for me.
