So the IRS decided they wanted $600 from me, on top of the rather alarming tax bill I was already laboring under, and I gave up. But my pain is your potential gain!Because...the Taxman is back!
And he's...damp. And has herons. (I don't know about anybody else, but while I'm not exactly underwater in this economy, I do occasionally the waters swirling 'round my ankles, if you know what I mean.)
The Taxman will be available as a limited 13 x 19 edition for $25 plus shipping, for one week only, after which the edition will be closed, the number set--how many we sell is how big the edition is, plus two for conventions--and no more will be made.

I hope you made out okay with that tax bill and the $600. Right now I am unemployed and out of money, so I guess the water is nearly up to (and then up) my nose!

I remember having snuck up to within 8 feet of a Great Blue Heron when I was fishing. I kneeled there and watched it hunt.

This is a really lovely piece of work! I really do need to comment on your art more often.
I've seen (and used) plague doctors to metaphorically poke fun at America's obsession with health, sanitizing and, in a lot of cases, over-vaccinating. But never the financial situation! I mean, I'd love to hear your reasoning for it.
And I know what you mean by the 'water swirling 'round your ankles'. After a year of searching, applying and worrying, by fiance finally got a new job after getting laid off his old one. We've been hanging in there and managed to get enough together in order to move to a bigger apartment closer to our jobs!
