I thought of a premise for a sci-fi/ecological issues drama: A logging company goes back into time to log scale trees with a time machine they use daily to move their equipment and the harvested trees back and forth between then and now. It turns out these scale trees have better physical properties than even balsa wood for making wind turbines and other lightweight structures. The thought of humans messing up an ecosystem millions of years ago is reprehensible to some.
