The smell pod is an invention that recognizes that people can smell as well as hear. The smell pod contains 5,000 distinct odors, ranging from burning leaves to wet dog, from grandma's attic to dentist's waiting room. Naturally, everyone will have favorites, and so everyone will create personalized smell-lists, and then depending on their mood, they'll choose one or the other. After a while, we will come out with smart smell pods too, so that you can download different smells and when your phone rings, it won't; it'll smell. (Of course, you can assign different smell tones, too. So different friends will smell different. Your sweetheart will be lavender; your boss can be postdigestive beans.)
