The LS-4 'Vindicator', essentially the bulkier magnum equivalent to the LS-4R. Part of the Domain's 4th generation of photonic sidearms designed to counter the onset of Imperial aggression in the Andromeda galaxy. Proven to be effective at dispatching a majority of organic threats by administering a superheated thermal pulse capable of igniting most targets. Unlike it's predecessor however, its larger power cell and lack of space for implementing better heatsinks has made this weapon prone to becoming somewhat volatile after repeated rapid use, making it capable of meltdown if severe enough. This sidearm is used mostly by the higher ranks of the military, being a favorite among them for the "authority" it apparently exudes. Though the size makes it good for a blunt force alternative, and it could likely be used to brand something if fired enough times...
