give him a break, although the model is very pretty and sexy, there isn't much to this photo. you made a very nasty crop there cutting off the base of the chair and her hair. tsk-tsk-tsk... not very professional of you. oh and by the way, i went to school for this so don't give me any "who are you to judge me" crap.
to further prove my point, not even the people who gave critique think this is very original. they just find her seemingly innocent face a very good contrast to the outfit.
i'd sum this photo up in: good choice of model and expression in an overly used suit and pose and unnecessary b&w technique. looks a bit like "good girl wondering what it's like to be bad" which would be even further pronounced as the highlight of the photo, had there been a better crop and nice subtle natural pink color on her face.
oh and if this photo was taken in b&w and this is the original crop, shame on you for pretending to be a good photographer.
i would have kept my mouth shut, if all the fetish fans out there hadn't attacked *Storykilla for no reason.
personally i think you have nothing to do with all that. it's deviantart that makes us envy eachother with these unjustified DDs while some other beautiful works go unnoticed.

no offence but i will not give him a break, if someone doesn't like the photo that is fine, i have no need for everyone to like the image. I didn't ask for it to be featured, and i didn't force you or them to come and comment. I have no issue in recieving constructive crit, but what they said was in no way constructive and just a useless comment made to insult hence the original reply.
In regards to your post, DD's dont have to be deserved they dont even have to be any good, if you have even read the FAQ regarding DD's you would know this. it has ALWAYS been that way. FAQ #18: Who selects the Daily Deviation and how is it chosen? Also as ^quietchildae has said if you have issue with a DD being issued you should go through the proper channels which is ALSO in the FAQ. FAQ #873: What do I do when I disapprove of a Daily Deviation feature?
Also i dont care if you went to school or otherwise, treating people with a little decency is something any human being should be capable of doing, i NEVER claimed it was a professional shot, nor did i EVER claim i was a professinal photographer. If i didn't think the people that submitted the critiques had valid points I would never have allowed them to have been posted.

Don't bother. He must've never had worn latex, and I suspect that suit, along with those heels (I suspect they're designer due to the different shape) were bitches to get off. She is also very flexible.

Candid shots are always a favorite of mine. When I shoot I try to get the "person of interest" accustomed to the presence of my camera to the point that they're too tired to bother about it. That's when the best shots are made.

You know, the critique mentioned that the model's hair looks sleek near the roots but messy toward the bottom and that this could be fixed. In my opinion though, I think the messy hair adds a bit of contrast to the sleekness of the body suit, and doesn't need to be fixed at all.
Otherwise, I really, really enjoy this shot! It's framed quite nicely and I love the stark contrast of the shininess of the suit to the matte background. Bravissimo!
