Today is the 20th anniversary of the day "Ed, Edd n Eddy" premiered on TV and this is my half-assed way of celebrating the milestone birthdays of one of my favorite cartoons: posting a mediocre drawing of the title characters made by an awkward teenage boy (i.e. yours truly) 15 years ago. As you can see, I also got the stripe pattern on Ed's shirt wrong. Terrific.

I wish I could do something more glamorous to mark this occasion, but this is the best I can do under short notice. Maybe I'll also review the movie sometime in the near future. I don't know.

While I believe this is a record that has now been broken (I could be wrong), "Ed, Edd N Eddy" was, by the time it aired its final episode on November 8, 2009, the longest running CN original at 10 years, 10 months, and 4 days. It's a show that began when I was 12 and ended when I was 23. It was with me throughout all my teenage years and into early adulthood. This series had a major influence on me growing up and I'm glad it was around. I maintain to this day that its series finale was one of the greatest final episodes of any TV show ever. I say that with no exaggeration.
