So I was listening to the musical Fun Home, and it made me thinking about memories. I started thinking about the layering of memories. The primary focus is this core memory of an ex's apartment. However I've added about nine layers of additional work to create the colors and textures for the work, as a way to express how each layer of memory added, can change how one views that original base memory.
