The background:- brilliant female scientist studying/experimenting in the area of growth had developed a growth enhancing device initially for non chemical & non-genetic modified growth for crops & animals for the third world but she had got so intense about it and talked about it's use on humans (to cure some medical conditions), that her employers got worried (or was it jealousy that her experiments were going so well?). One day she got to the office and found her equipment including the device had gone. Her employers called her in and said she was to go on immediate indefinite sick leave and her equipment had been impounded in a secret location somewhere in the city. Understandably she was angry and unfortunately for the city and it's inhabitants she had a prototype human growth device she was working on at home, and this is the result. She was going to find the equipment even if she had to tear down the city brick by brick, it was going to be a long, long day for the city....
