Fullwiew pleaseThis is my second doll from the manga Death Note, and her name is Rem...and is it just me or does'nt she looks a lot like David Bowie from 1976, his Thin White Duke period....
Anyway this Rem doll is about 30cm tall....
and if anyone got any tips for I doll I can make please tell me...making dolls is like therapy for me....

just have to say that plushies are sooo much harder to do...i once tried to make one but it turned out...ugly...very very ugly...so i think that your plushies are really good cos i know how hard they are to make...

for the head I always use Fimo Soft clay, then I paint it with regular acrylic paint... for the body i used my glue gun...a lot...and a lot of wire, the base for the body are tinfoil...all of it I painted white...for her hair I used cotton wool...

May I ask how long it takes you to make one of these? they are so awesome, and I sculpt in my free time, so I'm a bit curious about fellow artists. ^^

one foot...thats about 30cm, Right? ...well thats my regular zize for my dolls too...but the death gods are a bit bit bigger so I made them about 35cm...

30.48cm according to google. :3 and I dont have any tools, so I'm stuck with using my hands and toothpicks to sculpt with, so it takes me awhile. ^_^
and still, wow, you work REALLY fast and have an amazing result. :3

i mostly uses a little knife when sculpting, they are wery cheap and you can find them in many stores

come to think of it... I suggest that you look at doing a David Bowie/Jareth the Goblin King (from the film "the Labyrinth") or any of the goblins in that movie, I bet you would do an amazing job

Oh, and if you liked Death Note, you'd love the book "Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases". Its hard to explain, but if you love L, then you'll love this book.
