This is assignment for Illustration 2, "Shocking" is the theme. I was allowed to use only 1 colour and I chose Orange.The idea of this image came from one of Greek Mythology Stories. The Story about how Apollo was shot with one of Cupid's love arrow and fell in love with a river nymph, while the river nymph who was shot with Cupid's hate arrow ran from Apollo as fast as she could til she found a dead end on a river bank. Afraid of Apollo's coming, she begged to the river god to transform her into an Olive tree. Apollo arrived there when she had just finished her transformation. Heartbroken, Apollo took the leaves and made an Olive crown for himself as a reminder of his love tragedy.
Since this is a college assignment, I didn't draw an olive tree, just an ordinary tree.
