History: Val used to be part of a traveling circus, until one night they were attacked by a group of raiders on their way to Lilypad. The troupe scattered in all directions, with Val heading down the road. Once they reached Lilypad, they stayed at an inn for weeks, hoping their circus would eventually show up. Weeks turned to months, and Val built a house on the outskirts of town. They still spend every evening keeping watch in case the circus ever comes back to find them.

Other: Val's facial markings (white 'mask', blush, eyebrow dots) are very fancy dyes and makeup. They smear when wet or roughly touched, so Val HATES having their face touched. However, their frilly suit and striped tights are very durable. They keep a bag of tricks on them at all times, which usually contains a couple of bowling pins, mini hoops, and a big inflatable ball.
