Upon finishing this I think who ever was behind that one book about the baby hanging out with their mom (there was also a dad version and I remember having one about manners) Might have a bigger influence on my art that originally suspected.

This wouldn't be a big surprise because it's there along with the bear books were they felt VERY liminal to me as a child for some reason.

Actually to anyone else feel a tinge of bittersweet loneliness when looking at any picture book in their childhood or is that just a me thing?

Because for me (especially when if it involved night) it was a VERY common experience.
