Beyond the callipygian boy, raison d'être for this render is the recursion. As a software engineer I, obviously , built in the exit from the recursion (the two mirrors are not exactly parallel). There are no tricks here (I am not Escher); nevertheless it does takes some brain effort to figure out this hall of mirrors.
