Tara. I always like to remember how I met the little creature. I know I already wrote this about her in one of my entries, but I am still amazed at how trusting she had been from the beginning.
Many animals wouldn't have approached me, especially since I cried like a puppy right after Willow died.
Tara, however, curious as she is, approached the strange desperate creature (me) and tried to make herself known, to distract me, as if she knew exactly what was going on with me.

Animals have a much finer sense for this than most people and I have often experienced that many people are also simply not interested in how others are doing. They see it more as a weakness that can be exploited. Tara just wanted to help and I still believe that she herself was looking for a friend, someone who likes her.
Tara is intelligent, far more intelligent than you would guess and she understands the context of words and what they mean. I can ask her specifically for something and if it is possible for her, she does it. I have noticed this intelligence in many living beings on the ark I was on.

Probably another "adaptation" made in the creation of certain species and also some of the dinosaurs. Why, I do not know so far. Not even Santiago can answer this question.

At the end of the day, I'm glad that it's like this, because this intelligence has saved my life not only once. I can never give back what I owe to Willow and also to Tara. Willow gave her life for me, something I can't give her back, even if I would like to. Now I can only try to do better and take care of Tara so that she doesn't suffer the same fate. I would never forgive myself if something happened to her.

What always amuses me is that Tara herself likes Santiago, who always acts like he doesn't like Tara and yet I always find him with her sitting on his shoulder while he works, which he doesn't seem to mind. Kind of strange since he supposedly doesn't like her.

And I know exactly that you will read this and don't dare say otherwise now !
