EightyFive has been hearing a whole mix of rumours from some of the manorlings about escaping, fighting, staying in line. Seems the whole 'family' was falling apart and everyone was picking sides. The air was filled with a suffocating tension, you could cut it with a knife.
EightyFive was never really close with any of the manorlings and majority were all grown or growing while he was still a wyngling, so he doubted that anyone would try to persuade him with how insignificant his presence had been in this house (he didn't even have his own name). He knew something had to be done soon though, but with all of these alliances forming it was hard to decide which stance to take. So EightyFive took to stalking the halls and listening to the scheming, gathering as much information as he could before making a choice.
