-F.A.Q. about the bird-themeEDIT- as stated in the F.A.Q, all the designs are pretty random and I just draw what I think will fit the idea I have in mind, so if you think a character looks like someone else - I DON'T CARE. I'm not gonna use these ladies for anything else really, so why would it mather?
fact for you who are interested, this wasn't planned at all, I thought I would draw the eagle one today, but noooo this one insisted on being drawn instead O.o
also I think I've watched too much project runaway, she looks like some model with those legs xD
this one looked more elegant before I added the color actually, weird, I thought it would look lovely with that red dress...

Maybe you could do a purple bird next? I know there are some hummingbirds that have violet throats much like this swallow, plus there's something called a purple honeycreeper that's also violet X3

and I need some purple birds, and actually I've been looking at exactly that kind of hummingbirds XD it's just so hard to use such small birds D: but the other one looks quite awesome, it looks so mean!

Yeah, I know what you mean.. Maybe you could use a younger girl as a model and still use the hummingbirds - that way you can make them bigger but also in proportion. ^^

I tried doing that with the kiwi-drawing, but the drawing ended up REALLY tiny instead xD I'm not good at drawing them bigger ._.

I meant make the actual girl younger - then you could make it at least seem proportional without changing the size. Thus, the hummingbirds could be drawn larger and not as tiny in comparison to the person with them. X3
...Or you could use the other bird and make an emo girl with it XDDDD

but that is the problem, no mather how young I make them I still draw them proportional to the other ones, I don't even know why 8C
it's the same when I try do draw chibis, I just can't draw them bigger then 5-10 cm!

Hmmmm..... well, try doing roughs maybe. Just draw the girl and then draw the hummingbirds near her. Just circles or whatever you do to start a drawing will work. Then you can redo it as many times as you need without wasting a lot of effort on something you end up not liking.
Or, again, you can use the other weird bird XD

Thats brilliant, it works that her legs are long tho, because the swallow has two long tail feathers so they kinda match ^_^
