Description
I was introduced to these by my mother by one of their Polish names "Zajęcza Kapusta", which literally translates as rabbit's cabbage. Another name they have in Polish is "Szczawik Zajęczy", which translates to hare sorrel & in English they're known as wood sorrel. The leaves and stem taste sour & I wouldn't recommend eating the roots as I don't know if they're edible. This photo was taken a few days after I picked it.Photo taken 20th August 2023
