Esna Genuos, The Rot-Clad Gladiator

Despite her imposing and eerie demeanour, Esna is indeed a goblin, and a rather well-known gladiator and performer, recognised by her singing and musical capabilities and of course, her strange ‘costume’. What seems to be universally recognised as her gladiator garbs, is actually a number of mutations that formed during a reviving ritual that she and her cousin attempted when their late mentor died prematurely in a demonic raid.

She multiclasses as a dual-wielding Fighter (Champion) and Druid (Circle of Spores), though often forgets she is, in fact, the latter, having taken her druidic powers as just another part of normal life. She’s also kind of an idiot, but one with a heart of gold. She thrives off of making people happy, and only wishes to entertain, even outside of her identity as a gladiator.

Her design elements are loosely inspired by the idea of Dolgrims, as well as Vaal Hazak from the Monster Hunter series.
