This is just a reminder of the different circumstances of each brothers birth.

Soren was born naturally as Megrita physically gave birth to him from her own body. Enduring pregnancy to deliver a healthy little boy, Soren experienced childhood starting as an infant. He received his mothers unconditional love and care. He was born blind, seeing through sensation much like his mother does until the age of 5 when he first opened his eye to view the world that humans do. He was like any other normal human baby and grew at the same rate. He got into trouble sometimes and was scolded like any normal growing boy.

Aeron was not born from Megrita's body. He was created over the course of 5 months from genetic tissue of his mother and the human part of Soren to create what was as close as considered a "child". His creation involved spells upon spells upon spells, forming tissue and stretching tissue to mold and construct. He is akin to Frankenstein's monster, which is a possible reason as to why he appears more monstrous. He is "less evolved" physically, much like the original fam. He began to "feel" sensations halfway through his creation, which caused him undue amounts of pain and agony.

Aeron was constructed as an adult, so he never experienced childhood and never grew. Megrita has no attachment to him and he will never receive his mother's love. Aeron was a tool to obey his mother's commands, not something she could ever feel love for. He was designed as an emotionless killing machine that would feel no love and feel no sympathy for anyone, not even his own mother which is exactly the way that Megrita wanted it.

Since his purification and unlocking of his human emotions, Aeron has struggled with suppressing them to try and return to the person he once was where nothing hindered him. He now possesses the ability to feel resentment towards his mother and envy towards Soren for receiving the love he will never get, and though he will openly deny that he feels any of these things, he actually DOES feel them inside.
