Description Name: Rhampor Ptero
Nicknames: Rham
Gender: Male
Species: Aerodactyl
Height: ~6' 2"
Weight: ~95 lbs
Wingspan: ~14'
Length: ~13'
Age: Middle-aged, he refuses to state his age in years.
Favorite Berry: Lansat Berry
Moveset:
1) Assurance: This move, while typically an attack, can also be used when Rhampor is sure that he will succeed with an endeavor of some sort. When used as an offensive attack, Rhampor uses a variety of natural strikes after knowing his opponent has been weakened.
2) Sky Attack: Rhampor's Sky attack aura is a rich purple, like the color of his wings.
3) Flamethrower: Rhampor's Flamethrower is limited, and he cannot sustain it for long due to his emaciated and anorexic state. As he gains weight under Tau's influence his limits will increase.
4) Earthquake: This move is surprisingly his weakest, as he has little weight to throw around. Like Flamethrower, this is due to his thin weight. At full weight however Earthquake will be one of his most powerful attacks, second only to Sky Attack.

Personality: Rham is an Aerodactyl with a troubled past, and no living family other than Acari the Joltik. Because of this he is quiet, and does not speak unless spoken to most of the time. He is very patient, and very skilled, but also due to his past he is hesitant to harm others anymore except in defense of himself, his friends/comrades, or those who are in danger. He is sensitive to being called a criminal, and if faced with a circumstance where he is reminded of his horrible deeds he will shut down and start to mumble and babble in an insane manner if pushed far enough. This is one of the few ways you can get Rhampor to cry. Rhampor is normally a very controlled pokemon - he thinks before he does anything, except when faced with a gorgeous female that is 'his type'. He becomes an adorable hunk of charming mush, flirting and cooing.
History: (From Rhampor's Perspective)

“I was born in the prismatic jungle, and had no father. He abandoned my mother shortly after I hatched, and I do not know what type of pokemon he was. As you can see, I bear abnormal markings for an Aerodactyl. Not very much difference, but the striping of dark coloration along my sides was considered an imperfection for my father. Likewise, the sclera of my eyes has a dark pigment. It does not affect my vision, just how people view me.

My mother didn’t care that I appeared different; she raised me with morality and grace. Unfortunately she met an untimely end by the doings of a group of Charizards. They roasted her and turned her to ash and bones.”

Rhampor pauses here to take in a breath, his voice had begun to shake. Acari chirps quietly and nuzzles his neck. Callahan watches silently.

“I vowed then to kill any Charizards, or their pre-evolutions, I came across. I mercilessly slaughtered Charmanders, Charmeleons, and took down quite a few Charizards near the end of my dark age. I became known for my brutality in regards to those species, however I never harmed any other pokemon, no matter how hard they defended the fire dragons. Eventually it became too difficult to continue my merciless rampage, and I retreated into the Creeping forest, where I found little Acari. At the time she was but an egg, a tiny little thing. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from the egg, actually. I waited for the appearance of the egg’s parents, and for days I sat with the little gold thing. No Joltik or even Galvantula showed. I did not want to abandon the defenseless egg, and then I realized how hypocritical I had been. I had been slaughtering defenseless eggs, Charmanders and Charmeleons for months, with no remorse. Grief overtook me, as I watched over the egg that was so small and helpless. Just before Acari hatched, I took it upon myself to offer my life to the Charizards of whose children I had slain. Needless to say, they were shocked. I did not try to beg for my life, merely explained why I had begun my rampage in the first place, and that I understood I had done an irredeemable wrong to their kind. Instead of asking for my life, I asked that they take Acari’s egg, and make sure she lived well, happily if they could manage. The brood-mother Charizard stood with her patriarch, and an odd look dawned on her face. She took the egg in one hand, and my muzzle in the other. Her grip was firm, but not tight.
‘I have a different proposition for you, Night-wing,’ she had begun, using the name the Charizard population had given me.
‘Instead of death, you must create a Rescuer team, with whom I care not. After some time of developing your own team, we will assign you a young Charmander to raise, as punishment for your wrongdoings. You will be closely watched after that point, make no mistake. Now take your Joltik egg, it will be good preparation for your punishment.’ The brood-mother spoke deeply, holding the egg out for me. I took it solemnly, bowing my head respectfully.
‘You are merciful to a damned soul who does not deserve it, brood-mother. No matter my punishment, it will never be enough to pay for my sins.’ I had replied, tears in the corners of my eyes. I had welcomed death at that point, I wanted it, for I hate myself for the cruelties I delivered. I retreated back to the Creeping forest to train, to prepare. I was strong back then, but I lacked honor. On my own I assisted lost, injured, or hampered pokemon. Shortly after my sentence, Acari hatched, and I raised her there in the creeping forest by myself, teaching her morals, honor, and skill.

And so we are here today, and Acari has been at my side ever since.” Rhampor sighed, his tale finished. His eyes shut, and one could tell that he was struggling to hold back tears. Acari gave a small nip to his neck in an attempt at a comforting gesture.

Name: Acari Jolt
Nicknames: Ace, Carri
Gender: Female
Species: Joltik
Height: ~ 5"
Weight: ~1lb
Age: 2 years old (in human-like years, about 9)
Favorite Berry: Mago Berry
Moveset:
1) Electroweb: Ace is able to control the voltage of her Electroweb, meaning it can be a simple thread with no electric properties, or it can house a power house of energy.
2) Bounce: She uses this, oddly, as a defensive move instead of an offensive one. Due to her frail size, she utilizes her bounce ability to dodge opponents, whether they are actual enemies or just an accidental wayward foot!
3) Thunderbolt: This is her most powerful attack, but she seldom uses it, as it will drain her severely after completion. This is her last resort, as she will faint from lack of energy afterwards, much like a Pichu would after using a strong electric attack.
4) Bug Bite: This is a tricky move, but very useful for a tiny little pokemon like Ace. In a battle she can distract the opponent by providing a quick bite to either harm or annoy them. If her goal is to steal an item from them whilst they are distracted, she can easily do so because of her small size, usually without being seen!

Personality: Acari is a very bright and bubbly little pokemon, and very blissfully unaware about most things. She doesn't like being interrupted, but won't make a big fuss about it if she is. Nothing keeps her down for long, and she tries to see the best of everyone. She tried to cheer Rham up whenever she can, but she isn't always successful. She cares a great deal for Rhampor, almost viewing him as her father if not as her brother.
History: Ace doesn't have much of a history - She was hatched with Rham and raised by him, helping him and learning the ways that he taught her.

Name: Tau
Nicknames: Little Lion, or Cub (by Mala or Meristal only),
Gender: Male
Species: Vibrava
Height: 5’ 3’’ Standing
Weight: 85 lbs
Age: Teenaged, not sure of actual age
Favorite Berry: Leppa Berry
Friends: Rhampor, Acari, Mala, Meristal, Fiore
Personality: Tau is a brave Vibrava who feels he needs to prove himself by never failing in something he has sworn or promised to do. He believes greatly in honor and not dishonoring himself, his friends, or those he has chosen to work for. Tau is caring towards those few he considers family (his friends), as he was born alone and grew up on his own. Due to a head injury in his past by Tivoli he now suffers from occasional rages which appear with few known triggers. The one known trigger he has is seeing any of the Tyranitar line, he will go into an uncontrolled rage and attack without provocation or reason. This is due to the head injury which has damaged his brain. Little else is guaranteed to trigger him. He may be described as ‘Volatile’ to some, which is why he has very few friends. He is very mentally unstable, and can appear bi-polar (as seen in the comic 'Taming the Lion').
Hobbies: Meditation, singing, caring for young or small pokemon, Berry cooking
Religion: Order of the Sun
Moveset:
1) Rock tomb: While Tau does not know 'Earthquake', he is able to cause tremors next to walls with rocks, and use subtle vibrations from his wings to manipulate their direction and cause the rocks to collapse around the enemy. He can also use this move to provide cover for a quick escape.
2) Steel Wing: This is Tau's strongest move, as he cannot use Outrage on command. He can control whether one or all of his wings temporarily become as sharp as steel at the tips, and even spin in a rapid circle or vibrate them rapidly to cause chaotic or controlled damage.
3) Fly: He uses this move not as a method of transport, but as an outright attack. Due to incomplete growth of the wings in this 'pupa' stage of his life, he can only fly for short distances. He generally will use this in battle to gain the high ground, and then unleash a Rock tomb or Steel wing.
4) Outrage: Tau cannot control this move at all. His outrage is nearly twice as powerful as that of other pokemon's, however they are incredibly inaccurate as he gets tunnel-vision while in a rage. He will attack anyone, whatever he catches sight of first. He will even attack his closest friends, and kill them if he can. His rages can last only a few minutes, or several hours.

History: Tau was born in the Sandsong desert alone and with no parents in sight. Searching for food to grow strong and evolve, he managed to find the Prismatic Jungle which seemed perfect for his needs as a Trapinch, as there was too much competition for too little food in the desert. His concept of food back then was eating other pokemon, and to this day if he is desperate he will resort to his old ways, or if he is in a rage and cannot be stopped he may injure or consume smaller pokemon (although he does regret any time this happens). During his time in the Prismatic Jungle he was discovered by Tivoli, who decided that the little Trapinch had to earn his keep in the Jungle and struck Tau, delivering a near fatal injury to his head which he suffers from to this day. Tivoli left him for dead, sure that Tau would be dead overnight and his carcass scavenged upon. A pokemon did find Tau’s body, but not before the Trapinch was dead. Rhampor Ptero the Aerodactyl, having recently been tasked by the Charizard Brood mother, was patrolling the Prismatic Jungle waiting for his Joltik egg to hatch, helping pokemon out while he waited. Discovering the injured and practically dead pokemon, Rhampor scooped him up and flew him to closest location he knew of that was safe, which was the Cathedral Drop, housing the Order of the Sun. Rhampor left Tau there, promising that if they met later in life the Aerodactyl would remember him.
Tau then lived out part of his life in the Cathedral, under the guiding wings of Prosphora, Gabriel and Ezekiel. During his time in the Cathedral, he was left under the tutelage and administrations of a kind and motherly Drowzee priestess named Mala. While he was under her care she was able to control his fits of rage using her psychic powers. She taught him some signs he could be wary of, and after observing his dreams and sleeping patterns determined that upon seeing any of the Tyranitar line he would go into an uncontrollable rage, and advised him to keep from places where Tyranitar are known to live if he could help it. After living several of his youngest years in the Cathedral, his time as a Trapinch was cut short by his frequent outrages, which accelerated his growth. Now a Vibrava and able to speak to other pokemon, Tau became a disciple of the Sun under Mala in an attempt to control or lessen his fits of rage. He served like this for a few more years, learning meditation techniques to perform daily to help minimize his fits. Deeming himself ready for the public, Tau said his goodbyes to the Cathedral, and went off on his own into the world.
He went to several locations, although he avoided Prismatic Jungle purposefully. Eventually he found himself in Alomomola City for a short time, and was surprised to see Rhampor there as well. Catching up and spending some time with Rham and Ace, and seeing Rhampor’s deteriorated state (which was severe since Tau had seen him last), Tau asked to join the pair as rescuers. Rhampor was reluctant, but Ace agreed wholeheartedly, not having the manpower (even with her electricity) to bully Rhampor into keeping in shape.

Also during his time in the cathedral he found and befriended a small non-sentient Deino, who he took in and gave a home, naming her Fiore. He blessed her with a collar that marked her 'of the sun' and that she should be taken to the cathedral if she were injured or killed. She has no special moves (other than natural defensive and offensive moves), but is somehow able to sense Tau's rages with subtle changes in his body language and portrayal. She cannot stop the rages (or even tell Tau so he can stop them), but she is able to warn others nearby to run away. She will even go so far as to bait Tau to prevent him from injuring or killing another pokemon. During the day they separate and do their own things (if they are travelling this is an exception), but they will always meet up at dusk (Fiore using her excellent smell to track Tau down) and Tau will sing to her to get her to fall asleep. It is extremely difficult for her to fall asleep without being sung or talked to. She is not part of the team, thus not required to be drawn by other artists or written by other writers. She is a personal NPC, and is not a major factor in tasks, events, or missions.

oh, Really? I didn't want to overestimate myself... I mean I love art and everything but I've sort of gotten out of touch with shading without lines ^.^' I originally had another team, but got so grumpy with the style(lineless) that I scrapped it in favor of starting this new one.

thank you for the watch, though! If I get more comments or anything about going to Raichu I'll ask someone to bump me up.
