Hooray my first DTIYS by @/mcspicey_ over on Instagram 😌👏 First of, it was great drawing the Captors slightly different from how I usually draw them. The four ear thing was cool. As for the whole DTIYS, it was cool to try but it does feel a bit embarrassing putting my art next to the original because the original is so good lol also with this drawing I tried a much warmer palette which I kinda regret because their skin ended up looking too uhh human? Rather then the yellowish I wanted Lol so that sucks but idk I guess I’m fine with the drawing overall. I’m slowly getting used to Procreate but there are little things I prefer from ArtStudio. For example, idk if maybe I don’t know how to, but you can’t really make simple shapes, like a rectangle with different brushes. You can only do that with the selection tool. Also I still really don’t like the selection tool because with ArtStudio once you select something you have the option of resizing it, moving it, rotating it, or any combination of the 3 while also giving you an exact number of how many pixels you moved your selection, the percent of how much you shrank/enlarged something, or the degree you rotated something, but with Procreate sometimes I want to move something but it ends up resizing it since once you’ve selected something, you can’t zoom in and if the selecting is small, it ends up getting distorted. Maybe I’m just a control freak but it’s the little things haha I’m sure I’ll get used to it so whatever lol unless I can actually do that in procreate and I just don’t know, in which case, pls tell me 🥺😂♊️💚
