Description
Orihime stepped out in front of the loud, obnoxious crowd and clapped her hands together in an attempt to get everyone's attention. “If everyone's all ready to play, we can go ahead and start the next turn.” She still didn't have everyone's attention, but still thought it best to continue on with the game. “Hm, I think you should go next. You look really bored.”“I am really bored.” Having waste as long as you had, you'd actually grown rather uninterested in even playing the game. “Well, let's get this over with, shall we?” You slowly pushed yourself off of the ground and meandered over to the back pack. “I choose, goggles. Whoever owns these weird looking goggles, follow me.” After placing the goggles on your head, you began making your way to the closet.
“Of course, I'd have to get the boring chick. I'd rather have someone with a little spunk. It would make things more interesting you know. Well, maybe I can still find a way to make things fun, even if she is a stick in the mud.” Renji let out an annoyed snort. “Hey, where are you going? Get back here I was talking to you.” With you already in the closet, Renji's babbling came to an immediate halt. He quickly walked into the closet and shut the door with a little thud. “Thanks for leaving me hanging.”
“It's not my fault you talk to yourself. Besides, you were using up our time out there. If I had waited out there until you were through talking, we wouldn't have even gotten into the closet.” You let out a little snort as you crossed your arms. “Hasn't running your mouth gotten you into trouble before? I would have thought you'd learned your lesson by now.”
“Oh yeah, you're one to talk. You haven't shut up since we got in here.” Renji's brow twitched with frustration. “Now seriously, give me back my goggles, they're expensive.”
“Goggles?” For a second you completely forgot that you were even wearing his goggles. “Oh, you mean these goggles I'm wearing on my head?” You pressed your fingers against the thick frame and slowly pulled the eye wear from atop your head. “Oh, you must mean these extremely oversized, ridiculously tacky looking goggles right here. I think they're safer with me. Why would you want these cheesy things back anyway?” For no other reason than to torment him, you began twirling the all important item on your finger.
“H-hey, be careful with those things. They cost me an arm and a leg!” Renji jumped towards you, arms outstretched and hands wide open, desperately trying to reclaim his belonging. “Man, why are you so annoying? Do you have any idea who you're dealing with, or are you just stupid?”
“I'm not stupid, and I know exactly who you are. However, you were complaining that I was boring, so I thought I'd liven things up a bit.” Despite how hard he was trying, you managed to keep the goggles away from him. “Am I too exiting now, or do you just run out of steam really fast?”
“Shut up! Why are you so annoying?” Every time he spoke his voice would grow louder than before. His face burned red with anger.
“Wow Renji, you sure do get upset easily. I was only trying to have a little fun with you.” With a feigned sniffle, you handed him his item and began to sulk. “Even when I do something so I won't be boring you get angry, I just don't know what to do.” You faked a quiet cry as you held your head in your hands.
He happily accepted his item and placed them safely on the ground next to him. “Oh come on, you don't expect me to believe that crap do you? There's no way you're crying, so just cut the crap.” Renji saw right through your act, which was impressive, since most people easily fell for it. Without realizing it, you'd stopped your act. “See, I told you, you weren't crying at all. You're just trying to tick me off some more.”
You let out a loud, but short laugh. “No I wasn't. Trust me, if I really wanted to upset you, I would have no problem doing so.”
The door slowly creaked opened, just enough to let Orihime peek in. “Is everything all right? I heard an awful lot of yelling.” As she opened the door the rest of the way, a high pitched crunch filled your ears. “What was that?”
Renji let out a loud yell. “No, not my goggles!”
Even though he was obviously devastated, all you could do was laugh. “See, I told you they were safer with me.”
