“Man oh man, that was some good ramen. Sometimes I wish I had an extra stomach just so I didn't have to stop eating it.” Naruto gave his stomach a satisfied rub. “You got enough to eat right? Because we can always go back.”

“I think if I ate anymore, I might start leaking ramen from my ears. But thank you for the offer, and for taking me out in the first place.” You treated it like a joke, but honestly, you couldn't remember ever eating so much in one sitting before. “How many bowls did you eat anyway?”

“A lot, I ate a lot. But hey, we ninja need to be well feed right? We have to keep our strength up in case of an attack.” Placing his hands behind his head, Naruto gave a wide, close eyed grin and continued walking down the street.

“Hey Naruto, there you are. I've been looking all over for you.” Konohamaru ran up to Naruto looking excited as usual. “Udon, Moegi and I are going to play hide and seek. Do you and your girlfriend want to play along? We could really use a few more players. It's no fun when it's just us three.” He'd put much more emphasis on the word girlfriend than needed.

“Hide and seek huh? You know, you never beat me at that game. If you're ready to lose again, then I guess I'll oblige.” Naruto turned to you, looking determined. “Are you up for a little game? If not, I can walk you home first.” He leaned in closer and whispered in your ear. “But between you and me, I think we need to teach these punks a lesson.”

“Whatcha doing there Naruto? Whispering some sweet nothings in your girl's ear?” Laughing at his own joke, Konohamaru started tugging on Naruto's arm. “You can talk later. Let's go.”

“Wow, you sure are eager to lose.” Naruto shook Konohamaru of him, but kept his eyes on you. “So, do you want to play?”

Quickly deciding, you nodded. “Sure, it sounds like it could be fun. And I really have nothing better to do.” With you now on board with the idea, the three of you made your way to where the other two players were waiting.

“Sorry it took me so long to get back here guys, Naruto was on a date with his new girlfriend or something like that.” Konohamaru's comment earned him a swift punch in the back. “Ouch. What was that for Naruto?”

“Stop calling her my girlfriend already. The joke wasn't funny the first time you told it.” With his face as red as a strawberry, Naruto crossed his arms and turned his nose up. “Are we going to play, or did you just call me over her to annoy me?”

“Sorry Naruto, I didn't think me calling a pretty girl your girlfriend would make you so mad. But if you aren't dating her, that gives me a chance with her.” He rubbed his hands together and grinned wickedly and chuckled.

“Keep your paws off of her you little pervert. So help me I ought to.” You cut Naruto short.

“You guys realize I'm right here. I can hear everything you're saying.” As embarrassing as it was to have people fighting about you, you were more annoyed at the fact that they would do it in front of you. “Are we still going to play?”

“Oh you're right. I was so entranced by your beauty that I completely forgot about there even being a game.” Konohamaru leaned in close to you and wiggled his brows. “But now that I've been reminded, we should start. Just to make up for it, I'll seek first.” He turned towards a building and waved everyone off. “Go hide, I'll count to fifty.”

Everyone ran off as fast as they could in search of a hiding spot to call their own. There was one spot in particular that you'd been using since you were young. Between two buildings, there was a small recess in one of the walls. Normally a large dumpster was placed in that recess. But, if you moved the dumpster out just a few inches, you could squeeze back behind it. “Perfect.”

“No it's not, this is my spot. Go find somewhere else to hide, both of us aren't going to fit back here.” Naruto was already in your spot, your secret spot.

With Naruto hiding in a place you thought only you knew about, it was needless to say you were surprised. “H-how did you find this? I always hide here.”

“That's really good to know for any future games we might play, but for now, shoo. You're going to get us caught.” Naruto crept a little closer to the brick wall behind him and brought his knees up to his chest. He was not about to leave.

“Come out, come out, wherever you are. You can't hide forever, but I can probably look forever.” Konohamaru was closing in on you, and fast. If you didn't find somewhere to hide, immediately you'd be spotted for sure.

With nothing else to do, you pressed yourself into the tight space. “Move over.” The space was so limited, you were practically sitting on top of Naruto. He tried to complain, but you quickly covered his mouth with your hand. For some strange reason, Naruto thought it would be a good idea to start tickling you. Unable to keep from laughing as his fingers tickled up and down your ribs, you covered your own mouth as well, hoping to quiet the sound of your laughter. It didn't work.

It took Konohamaru only seconds to find you both. He pulled out the dumpster, causing you and Naruto to toppled over onto each other. “Well, well, well, what do we have here?” Konohamaru tapped his foot, crossed his arms and gave you a smug grin. “You know, for you two not dating, you guys are really inseparable. And by the way Naruto, I'd like to point out that your perfect Hide and Seek record has been stained by this loss.”

“Naruto, why did you do that? We could have won, easily.” With your face red, and growing more so, you struggled to remove yourself from under his body. “And get off of me already will you? I can't breathe and you smell like ramen.”

Before Naruto could move, light flashed around you. “That looks pretty believable. I think it will do nicely.” Konohamaru had taken a picture. With the position you and Naruto were in, you could only imagine what it would look like to others. “I'll see you two later, I'm just going to go make a couple dozen copies of these. Then you'll have to date each other.” He took off as fast as he could, laughing evilly to himself.

You quickly stood to your feet, mouth ajar and eyes wide. “Well, aren't you going to go after him? He'll put that picture up, I know he will.”

“Nah, I can't do that.” After brushing himself off a bit, Naruto shook his head. “You see, we pranksters never interfere with each others pranks, it's against our unwritten, prankster code." He grinned. "Besides, I kind of like his idea.”
