I wanted to experiment with some speedpainting styles, so I did some Skyrim fanart! I'm so excited for Skyrim! its release date is so close but yet so far... Who invented October???Also sorry for the inactivity period, I've had some health issues and school started this month so I have very little free time; 3d animation is fun, but very time-consuming P: (in fact I was supposed to spend this whole weekend doing lots of
homework instead of drawing... Hope my teachers don't read this c8 )

Amazing! I love your dragons. I would like to see you attempt one of Tolkien's dragons: Ancalagon the Black, perhaps. Or Glaurung. Or even Smaug, whom we shall soon see in the film adaptation of The Hobbit!
Speaking of which, Alduin sounds like a Tolkien name~ In Sindarin, the prefix "Al-" means not. "Duin" is the Sindarin word for river, though it could be another form of "dΓ»n," which means west.
"Alduin," in Sindarin, would be pronounced "all-DO-een", and it probably means something like "not from the river" or "not of the river," but it could also mean "not of the west."

Hello!
I'd recommend using references if you're a beginner. You can find beautiful landscape photos on google that will surely inspire you. The most difficult part is choosing the color palette, but it shouldn't be hard if you study some refs. You can also find some very good videotutorials on youtube, try searching "speedpainting lanscape tutorial", or something like that.
