I have to be honest... this picture scares me... I'll never look at Rei again the same after the end of the series... Seeing her smiling at me like that makes me afraid that I'm going to brust into a pool of yellow goo.
My fear for Rei aside, nice bright colours without being overly bright; if that makes sense. You did a great job on her Plug Suit and... besides the fact that it IS Rei smiling, it's a very cute smile. I have friend who likes to do this and your picture rivals her cuteness, not an easy task.

The shading is especially impressive, contouring everything well, proportions are amazing, the only thing seems to be that her eyes are uneven. lol
