Commander Saratoga Jones, seen here sometime after the V'ger Incident in the early 2270's, on the bridge of the dreadnought, Constellation (NCC-1017A). She is wearing a rarely seen transitional uniform from that era. By this time she had been promoted to the position of 2nd Officer of Constellation, and in this moment she was in command as both Commodore Van Flynt and 1st Officer Shumway were both missing somewhere on planet Omicron Zed IV. This left Commander Jones to respond to a rapidly developing situation in the Neutral Zone involving renewed Tholian agression. For this action, Saratoga Jones recieved a commendation that took her one step closer to a command of her own several years later.
