i carved the piece so that the texture goes all the way beneath the ladder of roots, and the whole thing goes under the entire bridge. you can sort of see it in this picture, but please remember, i'm not much of a photographer hahaRelated content

I love it! i'm planning on building my own double neck guitar/bass with this similar style, just with ebony and perhaps rosewood. My dad is a professional luthier, and he's helping me out a bit. check out some of his hand made guitars if yr interested [link]
