i can see the meaning behind it. my mom won't stop talking about lost time! i'm pretty sure she's going through a mid-life crisis. i like that the picture is tilted slightly and how mush detail you put into the clock

Oh man, this is beautiful. How did you come up with such a concept?
Everything look so realistic, yet keeps a nice fantasy feel to it. Like you can actually feel that cool water splashing up and down. Its amazing. The light hitting of everything, it works so perfectly with it. The shines coming off from what would be the camera or eyes is a really nice perspective. I really love the rim of the water there. The way it looks, the stray drops jumping up from the body of water is very detailed and beautiful. The sky is amazing. The clouds and everything all add a nice touch to it. The light hitting off of the clouds. Makes them so realistic. The seagulls flying around are a nice touch as well. They look amazing up there in the sky. The clock itself really stands out in a good way. The look of it and the feel of it really adds a nice depth to this picture. I love how the sun shines off of it, the look and feel of that is just amazing. And all the lovely details on it, beautiful.
The picture really grabs a hold of you and takes you into a new world. You can actually feel the sun and the water on your skin as you look at it, a soft wind blowing across your skin. Those kinds of pictures just amaze me. Wonderful job. This is well worth that Daily Deviation, and all the lovely comments and favs.

First thing I thought of when I saw this: My Grandfather's Clock by ~Kayleekoo . The time/clock theme, the sea, and the way the clock seems to be sinking below the surface....forever.
