Her name is Gatekeeper, and her colors are based on the Gray Hairstreak Butterfly. She is a drone for a HiveWing SkyWing hybrid named Killdeer. Killdeer refers to Gatekeeper by her real name in private, but when in public, he calls her "my servant". Her nickname is Gate.

She wants to learn the true history of Pantala, instead of what the HiveWings have always told her. Gatekeeper also has an interest in astronomy. She was part of the Chrysalis, but left due to tensions between her and another member.
