I love the grin during the playing with lightning. Reminds me of the best spell description I have ever read. "Blasting a single Fool with lightning? Child's play. A real master knows how to arc the bolt from one Fool to the next. Grand masters can keep from laughing as they watch them dance in paroxysms of pain."

Here are some names that I thought could fit them based on what they are or do; Necia, Ember, Seraphina and Kegan has meanings relating to fire while Catherine may be derived from Hecate, the name of the Greek goddess of magic. it means "pure".
Hecate, as the name of the goddess of magic it is uniquely qualified as the name of a mage, no?
and Agate is a semi-precious gemstone which was once believed to have numerous magical and curative powers.
Aafje means "one of the magical beings", Tayla is a variant of Kayla which means "slim and fair" certainly words that can be used to describe these two characters, don't you agree?
