Description
A piece for of her cool Siamese cat dragon. This was a lot of fun cause of all the bounce light and delicious saturated/unsaturated colors and textures and big juicy eyes and my ever favorite warm colors and rough textured background.Created in Corel Painter 10. Big thanks to Kace for the artistic freedom.

Absolutely beautiful, as always. The technique you used for the fur is gorgeous; it's as if you could reach out and pet that glossy, soft fur! Anatomy is great, for the most part. The only problem I have is with the face. The muzzle seems a little twisted to the left, while the horns and ears lean to the right, if you get what I'm saying. Perhaps it's just the lighting. Regardless, you did her stunning eyes perfectly. They suck you in, as the only piercing blue things in the picture. As you probably know, the background could be better, but I like it as it is just fine. It looks good with all the warm colors. And besides, it's not as if people are going to be drawn to that minor detail first. ;D

Hmm. I love the colors and lighting so much. And I'm not a paid member or whatever so I can't leave a Critique per se, but here are some things I noticed that kind of bug me: the horns are a little asymmetrical-looking, it seems like the leftmost one could stand to be pushed down and to the left just a touch. Also, her paws look awfully doggy to me. I think the digits are too long-looking for a cat. :} But that may be a character trait, ymmv, etc.
I love that wing! I feel as though it should be translucent to help balance out the brightness of the eyes and draw my eye across the picture. Also, it's backlit?

I love the earring jewel and the similar jewel-ness in her eyes. The way her paws are holding the little cup is very charming.
The background is a little incongruous from one portion to the other. The rightmost part has a sponged grungy feel to it, but the leftmost part appears smudged. Having it consistent (either way) would help it flow better - as it is my eyes keep stopping on the blurry part.
Some of the edges of the character might be better softened and darkened to push them into the background more, but that's just what I'd do. If you and the recipient are happy with it it doesn't matter.
