Description
A commission of Mischa the malamute, who owns Footpad and Akeela. Foots sent me a few photos to work from so this is somewhat from a photo and a lot made up.Painter X, I am guessing around 30 hours or so if you include the sketching.

Aww, always thought that was a cute pose. But as everyone else is saying, lol, amazing work! LOVE how well you did that pose and all of the detail work. This is an outstanding realistic piece.

yeah I did read the description, I just don't know if you mean that the pose and background is all from your head and markings etc. from photos, or if like the pose and bg are from a photo too but you just changed them somehow

The background is from my head, the pose is from the photo, I needed additional photos of the face to get the markings right, and half the face and shoulder on the ground was obscured and I had to make that up. A little of this, a little of that.
