A sketch commission for Ravyn. I have such a hard time drawing dragons! I finally ended up using a couple reference images in a way that others might find useful, so I will share. Take with grain of salt, I don't know everything. :3

H'okay so I needed a pose and after dorking around listlessly for a while, I decided to look one up. I dug around in my reference folders until I came across this one: [link]

I liked it! So I took the gist of it and forced it into my sketch. Looking back over it again, there is other stuff I could have done, but it should be ok. :3 The bend of the wings looked nice so I roughly imitated it.

This dragon is supposed to have a saurian looking head so I went to [link] and rotated the video to the angle I like and roughed in the skull, then I fleshed it out.

So, uhh, there you have it. How to use completely unrelated reference from the internet without violating anyone's copyrights.

And Last! If anyone wants a sketch commission, they are 20 dollars for something simple, and more for something more complex, like [link] Email or send me a note if you are interested!
