Your new best friend, y’all. Actually drew this forever ago like a week after watching the movie but I never posted it on here because I’m a lazy piece of shit. I’m kinda conflicted about the movie, on one hand I want to say I loved it, because I did. The music was fantastic, it has some really memorable moments and all and all was just a really good time. But in saying that...I still just wish they would have ended it after Change Your Mind. A lot of the movie was just recap? Which I understand was the point, Rebecca herself even said she wanted this movie to introduce new audiences, but still, It’s getting tiring seeing the same themes being revisited over and over again. Also my biggest annoyance with the movie is how hard the writers are trying to reinforce the fact that Rose was “evil”. And I put that in quotes because she’s not any more evil than the other Diamonds, who are PRAISED both by the fandom and characters in the show. It’s just annoying to me. The Diamonds are not innocent, yet we’ve reduced them to lovable overbearing mom types, ugh.
