Back in 2021, Its been a historical moment for me. A great honor to represent Singapore to paint a piece for U.S. Embassy in Singapore : to commemorate USA-SG 55 years in diplomatic relations (美新建交55年).Title: Freedom and Harmony

Freedom is the word for United States. Harmony for Singapore as Racial Harmony a core value to us.
ald Eagle (national bird of USA) and Red Rose (national flower of USA) are represented. Crimson Sunbird (unofficial national bird of Singapore) and Vanda Miss Joaquim (national flower of Singapore) are represented. The bright blue sky and clean white clouds symbolise hope, peace and also a hint to USA's National Motto "In God we Trust". The crimson sunbird is painted looking forward to reflect SG's National Motto "Majulah Singapura" meaning forward Singapore.
