I've always imagined that if Napstablook is actually Asriel in this alternate universe, then he would start out with a huge amount of happiness at the beginning of the battle since he's absorbed so many monster souls, but as the battle went on, he'd just get so sad that he just completely gives up in the end. I also would imagine that when he's in this form he'd start off completely new and unbroken, but would have more cracks like in the image above when he gets more miserable.
I've always wanted to change the design of the original image since I always thought it looked kinda odd and it I didn't think it really represented Mettaton.
Also sorry for not really uploading much in a while, I've just been burned out due to the Composite Bot I was working on which was meant to be a big project, but now I've just been mostly writing down different ideas for stuff I want to draw or animate at some point and also working an big Undertale project.
