The match between Hitomi and Ashe continues with a crushing blow that probably bruises more than just ego. As you can see , I mirrored the action from the previous shot to allow the battle to literally swing back and forth.

Doing the different textures in pencil was fun, though time-consuming. There was a time I used to shade entire pages of art using linear hatching with my ruler, since manga screentone was all sorts of hard-to-find and/or expensive where I live. Sure I can do all that digitally now, but sometimes, the organic "mistakes" add just a bit more energy.
