Here's a sample of what I've been working on for the past little while....And you know what? I HATE the darn thing! lol... I'm sooooo sick and bored of it lol. I just thought I'd give everyone a stinkin' sneak peek of it lol. It's been on my hard drive for a while.
I should finish it in a week or two, if I commit myself to it...zzzzzzz

This is awesome...I love the vibrant colours, and the unique design. I particularly like its eye.
The dragon reminds me of the Jormungbandr/Norse wyrm that holds the world in its coils.
It also makes me think of a myth-interpretation of thw cause for day and night.

simply unbelievable colour and detail... this is just insanely good.
I can actually see why you might be bothered by parts of it, though. I think the lower part of the neck looks a little thin, and the earth looks a little awkward in the dragons mouth--like it's not quite inside.
But, really, WOW, this is stunning. You are truly, truly gifted ^_^

The colours are absolutely amazing. The way the scales bend are individually shaded like that... It must have taken hours. Hm... the neck seems a little thin, though. That's my only complaint.
Also, the globe in its mouth is really well done, and like what was said, an interesting concept. You said you liked D2.. it kind of reminds me of Trag'Oul, the supposed dragon on whose back lies the world.

I see what you mean, i've been staring at it for the last couple of seconds and im already bored of it.
I don't know what it is exactly that i hate about it, maybe the great use of colors, or maybe its all the intricate details, i don't know, I just can't tell, but i absolutely hate it.
Just kidding, great job, looks finished enough to me, but im just lazy so you probly don't wanna listen to me, so keep workin on it until its done....

Yep I drew the dragon-serpent. Then I colored it up in Photoshop. I'll post the rough drawing when I'm finished coloring it.
