my sans design journey ahah
(mind you this is only my interpretation of his character and design)
i had a quite concrete vision of my version of sans’s character and i really needed to get it across design-wise. all the meme-lord but still kinda cool but still kinda disgusting and quite kind but also a bit shady and messed up... partly why i started my comic so late.. funny thing, i had pap’s design figured out about 5 months earlier than i had sans’s, he’s so unexpressive and low-key, that’s so hard for me!! and also, i’m NOT a perfectionist in lineart, colours,... i’m chill with that to a fault, but getting a point across in facial expressions, body type and language etc?...
(this was 50% the reason i was drawing him so often, the more you know)
