Actually, Ditto can mate with any pokemon of any gender, except legendary ones. While Mew can't breed at all. This is a point. =w=

Sort of makes me think the hybrid pony-changeling would be like having a regular pony, maybe having several changeling features, like fangs or may have wings or a carapace. Or just be changeling lacking certain features and being more like a pony.
I'm thinking more of a changeling with the ability to shift into a pony form and only that form alone besides it's changeling form.

I'm a half-changeling who have more DNA remarks of my pony mother, because we descend from many types of pony: Unicorn, Pegasus, Bat Pony, Crystal Pony, Flutter Pony (Before they were extinct by becoming changeling and breezes)! My father (In my story Fiction) is the son of Queen Chrysalis so I inherited the changeling remarks of taking power but in reverse, I give power! Well I give magic charge up actually, can give a unicorn, even with weak magic, a charge up of magic to almost Alicorn level for a brief of time!
