Description
The Aegis Class Cruiser is the mainstay warship of the Olympian Fleet.

Designed originally as a significantly larger vessel with the goal of overpowering the older Cheops Class Goa'uld Mothership, The Aegis Class Cruiser has since been updated to keep pace with and has become a counterpart to the newer Goa'uld Ha'tak class Motherships (it is only slightly longer than that ship). Crewed entirely by humans trained in Ares' Military schools each Aegis is Captained by a Demi-god (Loyal Humans retainers granted access to the Ambrosia Groves that give them immortality). The rest of the Crews are rotated out every few years to keep them fresh and build up the collective skill, knowledge, and training of the Olympian Military
