She hates being called by her first name or the nick name "Maggie" (Apparently "Maggie" the traditional nick name for Marigold and I have no idea why).
She started out as a field medic in the [space] army, then moved on to be a physician and eventually a scientist. She specializes in cybernetics (and lowkey nanotech).
