Every spring, I love to look out of my window and watch the rain dripping from the Horse Chestnut trees. I've tried to capture that feeling in this picture. I'm also experimenting with moving toward a more abstract style. Vector art, part hand-drawn in Inkscape, part generated in Pycairo. This picture taught me about value and colour (as well as come interesting coding challenges!).

It's been a long time since I last posted! A failed project and a private picture for my wife's birthday kept me busy... Hoping to post something more abstract for my next project (as much as I love landscapes). I want to explore producing more abstract pictures while keeping with the clean lines and precise shapes of vector graphics. Wish me luck!
