The season 2 finale of Amphibia, True Colors, has become the most discussed topic in the entire late Spring. Of course, Disney TV decision to stop premiering this episode, with the schedule change, as a pretext, may have something to do with what was going to happen to Marcy. Unfortunately, the episode got leaked on I-Tunes, because they forgot to them tell to not release the episode, but it was too late. Fortunately, a publicity campaign was launched by Matt Brady, the creator of Amphibia, on his Twitter account; and with the support of the various voice actors who appeared in the series, like Alex Hirsch, who repeated his role as a frog version of Stanley Pines, everybody responded to the call: Not to spoil the episode. Not a word; even if anyone watched the leaked episode. Sadly, videos were posted on You Tube; and most of the leaked episode went to Latin-American Youtubers. Still, the campaign was successful, nevertheless.

And to make things better, Disney TV decided not to edit the episode, and presented it, uncut, with a warning read by Sprig, as part of an special Amphibia mini-marathon; the only thing changed was a scene where there was a green newt; he wasn't supposed to be there, and replaced by Lady Olivia, the intended character to be there. Also, a tease of Season 3 was shown, including a scene where Marcy is alive, but keep inside a tank, undergoing recovery, but with the evil entity looking at her. No doubt this was inspired by Star Wars.

This sketch that I made reflects the reaction of what happened to the audience, the adult audience who watched. But, imagine the reaction to the other audience: those from their respective series: The Owl House; Big City Greens; Duck Tales (reboot) ; Phineas and Ferb; Gravity Falls; etc. And how Anne; Marcy; and Sprig reacted. 'nuff said. Enjoy my artwork, and, please, support these animated series, specially those that are reaching to the end of their life cycles.
