Just like me, Lori has triggers, hidden in mundane things that a lot of us may not give a second thought and it sucks that they can ruin an otherwise fine day.
Brief backstory: Lori's former fiancé Frederick (from an arranged marriage) was an awful narcissist with abusive and manipulative tendencies. Thanks to the efforts of Lori's friends, they were saved from him and eventually, he was taken into police custody and is awaiting trial. Laura-May was Lori's deadname and they absolutely hate hearing it. After Frederick's arrest, Lori has been taking steps going to a therapist to help deal with their trauma and they are in a much better place now.
Having someone around you who understands your triggers and supports you unconditionally is probably the best thing you can have to help you pull through your hardships. I can do it, Lori can do it and so can you <3
This ship has become so therapeutic for me, it’s very personal. My triggers are different from Lori’s, but I still feel this on so many levels.
