did this for a history assignment on historical fashion! i chose lesbian fashion in europe+north america during late 19th/early 20th century along with a comparison of modern day lesbian fashion. obviously my focus is mostly on the butch identity and how it developed aka this drawing isn't representative of all lesbians. it's not super accurate either but i mostly just wanted to get it done bc the deadline is tomorrow -.-

also violets (the flowers in the bg) were used by lesbians/wlw back in the day to show other lesbians that they were interested in women! can't remember exactly but i think they would wear and/or give them to each other :'')
